Welcome to the Finnish Trade Register
The Finnish Trade Register is a public register that contains information on traders and businesses. The majority of businesses are limited liability companies and private traders. The register contains official details of businesses all over Finland.

How to file a notification
Most businesses must be registered with the Trade Register. Are you planning to set up a business or do your registered details need amending? Are your company's financial statements due for registration? Would you like to close down your business? Read our notification instructions.
Are you looking for register information?
The Virre Information Service provides instant Trade Register information in electronic form.
Documents available in English include:
- translated information from the Trade Register extract
- the registration certificate
It is also possible to make many searches in English. Other information, for example financial statements, is available either in Finnish or in Swedish.

Personal identity codes and home addresses
The Trade Register has introduced a new notification procedure. You no longer have to submit the home address of those living in Finland. Use a specific personal data form (only available in Finnish or Swedish) for submitting identification data of natural persons. Do not fill in personal identity codes or home addresses on any other notification forms. And do not attach any documents to your notification (such as minutes or partnership agreements) containing personal identity codes or addresses of natural persons. We have also updated the information service on personal identity codes and home addresses.
