Appeal
The party receiving an adverse decision from the National Board of Patents and Registration (NBPR) in a matter concerning the registration of a trademark has the right to lodge an appeal against the decision. Appeals are handled by the Board of Appeal of the NBPR.
An applicant has the right to appeal if their application has been rejected or dismissed. Also, a party losing an opposition case may lodge an appeal.
A decision by the Board of Appeal can be appealed further to the Supreme Administrative Court, whose decision in the matter is final.
