Backlog of notifications at the Trade Register

At the moment, we are not able to process notifications submitted to the Trade Register as quickly as before. See the processing time prognosis

Officer in charge of the processing contacts you if necessary

The majority of notifications will be registered within the expected processing time. We will send you a Trade Register extract after the registration. However, if we cannot register your notification right away, we will ask you to complete or correct the notification in writing or by phone within the same processing time.

To guarantee that the processing runs smoothly, please do not inquire directly of the officer in charge of the processing about the status of your notification. Instead, please call our advisory service in Trade Register matters at +358 (0)9 6939 5900, or check the status in our electronic information services (see below).

How to find out the status of your notification

New businesses will be given a Business ID within about two workdays from the filing of the notification. The Business ID will then be available in BIS Search.

Using the Business ID, you can check our information service on published Trade Register entries to see if the notification has already been registered.

Our advisory service also provides information about the status of your notification.
