Company names protected increasingly often this year

Companies protect their trade names, parallel company names and auxiliary company names increasingly often: the number of company name registrations has increased by 15 per cent from the previous year.
In the first six months of 2011, the Trade Register recorded 27,299 new company names. Most of them, 21,316 names, were businesses’ principal company names. Of the remaining registrations, 4,819 concerned auxiliary company names and 1,164 parallel company names.
