Easier to submit notices to the Register of Associations
From 1 October 2011, it will be easier to submit notices to the Register of Associations. When an association files a basic notice, an amendment notice, or a notice of dissolution, it only has to submit one copy of the notice instead of three as before. An amendment to the Associations Decree allowing this change enters into force on 1 October 2011.
You can also file your notice online at www.prh.fi. There you will find further information and advice about registration, as well as rule suggestions and a model charter.
You can also submit your notice to Local Register Offices all over Finland, where you can order register extracts providing information about persons entitled to sign for registered associations.
