Copies required of patent and utility model application documents
We require one copy of both patent applications and utility model applications, as well as of their enclosures.
Likewise with replies to office actions and subsequently filed documents, including their enclosures: file one copy of each document.
One copy is also required of requests under section 71(a) of the Patents Act, and of requests under section 26(a) of the Act on Utility Model Rights.
If you fax the documents to us, the originals do not need to be provided unless you are required to do so.
