Co-operation agreement with Czech Patent Office
On 31 May 2012, the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (NBPR) signed a co-operation agreement with the Czech Patent Office on accelerated processing of patent applications. The agreement enables patent applications to be processed within nine months, when they are filed by Czech applicants with the NBPR or by Finnish applicants with the Czech Patent Office.
Following the co-operation agreement, a PPH agreement (Patent Prosecution Highway) will be signed between the NBPR and the Czech Patent Office.
