Preliminary checks

An association being established can request that a preliminary check be made on its bylaws. A registered association, on the other hand, can request that a preliminary check be made on the amendments to its bylaws. A preliminary check can be carried out on each section of the bylaws or only to some sections of them.

Fee

Preliminary checks are subject to a charge. Preliminary checks on all sections of the bylaws cost €400 and preliminary checks on one to five sections of the bylaws cost €120.

Validity

A preliminary check is valid for two (2) years from the date when a decision on preliminary check was given.

Processing time

Preliminary checks are carried out within one month from the date when the Register of Associations has received the application or according to the client’s needs.
