Enterprise mortgages
An enterprise mortgage (also called business mortgage or floating charge) may be applied for on the property of a trader recorded in the Trade Register. The mortgage may be applied for either by the trader himself or by a creditor.
By 31 December 2009, a total of 144,462 registered enterprise mortgages and registration notices had been recorded in the Register of Enterprise Mortgages. The total capital of registered mortgages amounts to roughly 76.3 billion euros.
