The handling fee has to be paid in advance
You can pay the fee at a bank, online from your personal computer, or by using a payment ATM. You can also pay it at the desk at Local Register Offices; Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment; or our client service. The receipt must be attached to the notification.
You can also use a special giro form printed for this purpose, available from our office.
Please note: The notification is free of charge if you only notify the Tax Administration on the notification forms (for example notifications on interruption of business).

Once you have paid the fee, attach the receipt to your notification. The receipt must show the status of the payment, which should be either “Paid” or “Processed”. The receipt can be a printout stating the transaction and the bank's archive number, a copy of a bank statement showing the payment in question, a receipt from a payment ATM, or the last page, with the bank’s stamp, of the giro form.
When paying to IBAN account numbers you may also need the bank-specific SWIFT codes, which are the following:

How to pay at NBPR; at Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Enviroment; or at Local Register Offices
If you deliver your notification in person to our client service, Arkadiankatu 6 in Helsinki, you can also pay the fee in cash or by debit card or by any of the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, OK, Eurocard, Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express.
Further, you can pay the fee at Local Register Offices and Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment when filing the notification. However, you are advised to check the method of payment beforehand with these offices.

The handling fees of the NBPR’s Trade Register are based on the Act on Fees Charged for the Services of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (1032/1992), and on the Decree of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy Liable to Charge of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (1085/2009) issued under that Act.
