Search instructions

Always enter at least a Business ID and/or a date.

Business ID
Enter the Business ID in the form 1234567-8 or 12345678. If necessary, check the Business ID in the Business Information System www.ytj.fi.

Date
Enter the date in the form dd.mm.yyyy, for example 13.10.2006 or 13.10.06. You can also search for published entries from a certain interval by entering the start date and the end date of the interval. The service contains information as of 1 September 2006.

Type of registration
In addition to Business ID and/or date, you can also limit your query by type of registration. You can select either Establishment, Change, Closing down, Application or Annual accounts. It is possible to select only one type of registration at a time.

Selection of area
In addition to date, also municipality or province can be used to limit the query. If you have entered a Business ID as a search term, the search ignores the selection of area.

Municipality
Municipality means the domicile (i.e. the registered place of business) of a company. If you limit your query by a certain date, the municipality is the company’s registered place of business on the day of registration. You can select or deselect several municipalities by holding down the CTRL key as you make the selection.

Province
Choose only one province at a time. If you already have limited your query by municipality, the search ignores the selection of province.

Search
A search by the search terms that you have selected is activated when you click the Search key.
If there are more than 200 hits, you must specify your search.

Clear
You can delete the search terms from the search page by clicking the Clear button.

Language
The Trade Register’s Information Service on Published Entries is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. You can select the language in the upper right-hand corner of the search page.

Please note that the information entered in the Trade Register is not translated by the Information Service. The publication of a register entry takes place in the original language (Finnish/Swedish). The headings of register entries are therefore in Finnish or Swedish, depending on the language in which the details have been submitted for registration.

Search results

Press on the registration date in order to access more publication details.

Sorting of search results
You can sort the search results by registration date or company name by clicking either of the underlined headings Registration date/Company name.

Back
You can return to the search page by pressing the Back button.

Publication of registration

The publication first states the company’s current basic details, which are followed by the publication of the register entry containing, for example, the headings of the register entries being published.

Register entry deleted
A register entry has been deleted and no new entry replacing it or stating the deletion has been made.

Print-out
If you wish to print out the published entries, make sure you are printing horizontally so that all entries fit on the page.
