BIS selections
The Business Information System (BIS) is a free information service jointly maintained by the NBPR and the Finnish Tax Administration. With BIS Search you can browse contact and identification information on businesses, such as:
- company name, auxiliary company name, and their translations
- Business ID and company type
- place of registered office
- address and other contact information
- principal line of business
- Tax Administration and NBPR registers in which the business is recorded
- information on closing down, interruption of trade, bankruptcy, liquidation or reorganisation proceedings.
In addition to using the free-of-charge BIS Search, you can order selected details against payment from the Business Information System (BIS).
With the BIS Search, you can search by region, line of business (the company's main line of business according to Statistics Finland's Standard Industrial Classification), company type, register (the registers of the Tax Administration, the Trade Register and the Register of Foundations) or by registration date (to select new companies).
Financial statements information
Besides from the NBPR, you can also get information from businesses' financial statements via the following services of our co-operation partners:
Services processed on the basis of financial statements informationFinancial statements information is also submitted in PDF images to information service companies, which store details from these sources and process various services that make use of the information.
The services include, among other things:
- Business ratios calculated from the financial statements data
- Credit classification services
