International application PCT-SAFE

PCT applications can be filed using WIPO’s (World International Property Organization) PCT-SAFE software as well as eOLF software. You don’t need smart cards and card readers to use PCT-SAFE software; instead you can acquire a certificate from WIPO for signing and filing applications. PCT-SAFE can also be used with Finnish smart cards (read more about electronic signatures).

Please note that you cannot use PCT-SAFE to reply to PCT office actions or supplement PCT applications or submit demands for preliminary examination. For such purposes, use eOLF software.
