The filing of foundations’ annual reports becomes subject to a fee.
From 1 May 2011, a fee will be charged for the filing of a foundation’s annual reports. The fee will be 100 euros for each financial period.

The handling fees of the NBPR’s Register of Foundations are based on the Act on Fees Charged for the Services of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (1032/1992), and on the Decree of the Ministry of Trade and Industry on the Services Liable to Charge of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (1142/2004) issued under that Act.

The information service fees of the NBPR’s Register of Foundations are based on the following statutes listed by product:

1) The fees for extracts from the Register of Foundations, certified extracts from the book of original entries, by-laws and financial statements are based on the Act on Fees Charged for the Services of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (1032/1992), and on the Decree of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy on the Services Liable to Charge of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland (1085/2009) issued under that Act.

2) Certified printouts of extracts from the Business Identity Code Register and certificates of arrival issued by the Business Identity Code Register are based on the Act on Criteria for Charges Payable to the State (150/1992), and on the Government Decree on the Services Liable to Charge of the Business Identity Code Register (1358/2001) issued under that Act.

3) Other information service fees are based on decisions taken by the National Board of Patents and Registration under the above Decree of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy.

How to pay

The fees are payable in arrears by invoice. You can also pay the fees at the cash desk at our Client Service (address: Arkadiankatu 6 A, Helsinki) when you file a notice or an application or collect information service products. The appeal fee must be paid within the appeal period.
