Our strategic objectives 2011–2020

As part of a competitive operating environment for Finnish commerce and industry, the National Board of Patents and Registration (NBPR) promotes new and growing business activities, as set out in the Corporate Strategy of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy (MEE).

Other strategic objectives:

• To be a nationally and internationally recognised organisation granting exclusive rights to companies’ distinctive marks and inventions.
• To be a pioneer of client-oriented, centralised and interoperable public administration online services for businesses and organisations.
• To maintain business information which can be effectively used within our society.

• To be a single, unified organisation, benefiting both clients and staff.
• To be cost-effective, productive and efficient.
• To have the friendliest and most competent staff in Finland, and the most exemplary leadership.
