Seminar Information Sources in Biotechnology 20.10.2011 at Biomedicum
A one day seminar about database resources available free of charge from the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB), the BRENDA database at the Technische Universität Braunschweig (TUBS), the European Patent Office (EPO) and Enzymeta GmbH. The seminar will highlight the volume and importance of the biotechnology information published in patent documents. It will be explained how to effectively access this information in the free of charge patent databases of these five SLING partners (e.g. patent documents, Espacenet; patent sequence databases, http://www.ebi.ac.uk/patentdata).
