General information

Utility Model Net is a service which anyone can use free of charge on the web pages of the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland. The service provides access to the basic data of a specific utility model. The search covers valid utility model registrations and utility models deleted from the register.

The basic data of a single registration can be searched by

• application number or
• registration number.

The basic data of several applications and registrations can be searched by

• name of the applicant for a utility model / the owner of a utility model
• date of application
• date of registration
• international patent class
• inventor
• title of invention, or
• by using a free text search.

The data contained in Utility Model Net are updated once a month.

The service can be used 24 hours a day (except for short, occasional maintenance breaks).

From 16 February 2009, you can find registered utility models in our Publication server (from registration number 8169 onwards). If you need the whole publication concerning utility models that are older than registration number 8169, you can order a copy of that publication from our library against payment.
