Trade Register forms

Our forms are available at the BIS web site jointly maintained by the NBPR and the Tax Administration.

Please note: The form contains several pages. In the amendment notification forms, fill in only the details that have changed.

Please complete the form before you print and sign it. Then send it to:

You can also submit your notification in person to the NBPR Client Service; the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres); the Tax Offices; or the Local Register Offices (‘maistraatti’ in Finnish), each of which provides the forms you need. We recommend that you check in advance whether the service is available at the ELY Centre.

Electronic notification

You can also file your notification online. Then you have to have a citizen certificate issued by the Population Register Centre to establish the identity of a person in electronic services. The certificate can be attached to an identity card issued by the police. This electronic identity card is called the HST card (‘HST-kortti’).

The handling fee must be paid in advance

In most cases, notifications submitted to the Trade Register are subject to a fee. A notification of change of address or contact details for a company, or notifications of termination of business are free of charge.

The fees have to be paid in advance. Please make sure that you have enclosed the receipt with your notification. You can also pay the fee at our Client Service, the ELY Centres, or the Local Register Offices when you bring your notification. Please note that the fees cannot be paid at the Tax Offices.

Please note: The notification is free of charge if you only notify the Tax Administration on the notification forms (for example notifications on interruption of business).
