Basic details can be browsed free of charge on BIS. You can use the foundation’s name or Business ID as a search criterion.
Documents such as extracts from the Register of Foundations, various certificates, financial statements, statistics, and selections are easily and quickly accessible on Virre. See what our Virre Information Service has to offer.
You can also order copies of documents enclosed with applications or notifications to the Register of Foundations. However, some documents, for example, balance sheet specifications enclosed with financial statements, are not publicly available.
Among other things, an extract from the Register of the Foundations includes:
Foundation’s name, Business ID, place of registered office, and postal address
Date of grant of establishment, and date of confirmation of by-laws
Purpose of foundation
Board of Trustees, and authorised signatories
