Our improved website

By giving our web pages a new visual image and making technical improvements to them we have tried to make it easier to find information on the pages. The English language pages are summaries of the Finnish and Swedish pages. The next comprehensive project will be the revision of the English pages.

The revised pages can be used in more than one way. Besides the graphic version, an opportunity has been provided to select a text version. The text version is designed particularly for mobile devices and special user groups, such as visually impaired persons.

Thanks to the new content management system, the text version has the same textual content as the graphic version. Thus, the information in both versions is kept up-to-date. A printable version is also accessible from the graphic version. This enables you to see and print out the text content with illustrations of each page without navigation and other peripheral elements.

The search properties of the revised pages have also been improved. Besides a simple word search, a separate search page is available where the search can be limited to a specified part of the pages. This way, it is easier to find the information desired.

The National Board of Patents and Registration has prepared the new web pages in cooperation with Ch5 Finland Oy (technical and graphic design) and Precis Oy (graphic design). The National Board of Patents and Registrations maintains the web pages itself.
