Changes in Patent Gazette and Utility Model Gazette

The following changes enter into force 1 January, 2010.

• The Gazettes, presently in pdf format, will become web browser-based.
• The Gazettes no longer publish data on interrupted application processes (i.e. dismissal, withdrawal, rejection or lapse of applications) nor on discontinuation of exclusive rights (i.e. termination, lapse, cancellation, invalidation). These data are available in the register data base PatInfo, which is updated every day.
• Inventor’s street address will no longer appear in the Weekly list of patent applications, the Patent gazette, or any abstract publication or patent publication. The inventor’s address only contains city or municipality, and country.
