Patent Gazette and Utility Model Gazette upgraded – an easy way to monitor patenting activity in Finland

The Patent Gazette and Utility Model Gazette were changed from pdf gazettes to browser based web gazettes on 15 January 2010, and are now available at http://patent.prh.fi/lehdet.

By reading the gazettes you can get up to date with exclusive rights in Finland. You will receive compiled information on for example applications filed and patents and utility models granted in Finland. Our RSS feed allows you to see when the gazettes are published.

New features:

• The web gazette provides easy access links to the application details in our PatInfo database.
• The patent publications and utility model publications are available as pdf files.
• The most important details are published in Finnish, Swedish and English.
• The gazettes no longer publish data on interrupted application processes or discontinuation of exclusive rights. You will however find the data in our PatInfo database.
• At the inventors’ request, their address will no longer be published, only the city or municipality, and country.
