NBPR at exhibitions in October

Tekniikka 2008 exhibition is the most important event of the year for the automation and production technology. It offers information on future visions, the best tools and the best organisations and businesses in the industry. The visitors are decision makers in industrial management, engineering, product development, maintenance and production.

We will present the following services at the NBPR’s stand: protection of industrial property rights, our information and examination services, Trade Register services and courses. An exhibition on industrial design is also organised at Tekniikka 2008.

OSAAVA NAINEN – Women Skills Seminar and Fair

The themes for the Women Skills Seminar and Fair include work, education, entrepreneurship, health, wellbeing, leisure, travel, manual skills, home furnishing, and fashion and appearance.

The purpose of the event is to bring together people and organisations that support women in relation to work, education and entrepreneurship. The participants include active developers of working life, researchers, educators, promoters of entrepreneurship and other people and organisations who want to keep up to date with current trends. Experts who want to influence future developments will also take part in the event.

As one of the themes of the event is entrepreneurship, we will present our services regarding the Trade Register, annual accounts, the Register of Foundations and the Register of Associations at the NBPR’s stand. A consulting engineer from our Patents and Innovations Line and a legal adviser from our Trademarks and Designs Line will also be available to answer your questions.

On the World Intellectual Property Day in April this year, a Finnish skilful woman, Maila Hakala, was awarded a Konsta Lifetime Achievement Award for promoting the work of innovative women. The NBPR was one of the organisers of the event.
