Register of Associations renewed 18 September 2019: New services and a Business ID for all associations

The Register of Associations of the PRH will be renewed in its entirety on 18 September 2019. All information systems and services will be revised. Along with the renewal, all associations will receive a Business ID.

Business ID for all associations

Business IDs will replace the registration numbers associations were given before. The PRH will provide all associations with a Business ID automatically. If an association already has a Business ID, it remains the same after the renewal. In conclusion, associations themselves do not need to do anything about the Business ID.

You can check the new Business ID of your association from the upcoming information service of the Register of Associations.

The Business ID (Business Identity Code) is a code given to businesses and organisations by the PRH or the Tax Administration. The number consists of seven digits, a dash, and a control mark, for example 1234567-8.

Interruption to filing online and paper forms 29 August–17 September

Before the new online information service and paper forms are introduced, there will be an interruption to filing. The PRH will take the current service and paper forms out of use on 28 August 2019.

If you are filing a notification online, it must be signed, paid, and sent on the due date Wednesday 28 August at 19.00 at the latest. If you file a notification using a paper form, the form must be received by the PRH on the due date Wed 28 August at the latest.

The new online services will be available to use from 18 September 2019.

After the renewal, associations will file their paper notifications using Y forms. The new Y forms will be published at on 18 September 2019. You will find a link to the forms also at

Our current online services available during interruption

The new information service of the Register of Associations will be opened 17 September 2019 and it will replace the current services AssociationNet, NetYREKA, and interface services. The old services will be available until the renewal.
