Limited liability companies and co-operatives: financial statements for the financial periods ended 30 September 2019‒31 March 2020 can be filed with the Trade Register until the end of November 2020

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the Parliament of Finland has enacted a temporary law under which, for example, limited liability companies and co-operatives can postpone the meeting where the financial statements are approved until the end of September 2020.

The financial statements must be filed with the Trade Register by 30 November 2020.

The temporary law applies to the financial periods that have ended between 30 September 2019 and 31 March 2020.

If a company files its financial statements late, the PRH will send the company an invoice of 85 euros as a handling fee.
