How to make a specification

File your specification notification using a separate Application concerning a registered trademark in our online service for trademarks (available in Finnish and in Swedish). The service requires user identification through the Suomi.fi portal.

Add the specified list either under “Hakemuksen tiedot” or “Uppgifter om ansökan” or attach it to your application. Use the TMclass tool to create the list. Go to TMclass.Avautuu uuteen välilehteen

The specification notification can be informal, but it must contain:

1. the register number of the trademark concerned
2. the list of goods and services in its specified form; and
3. your details and signature.

The specification must be made in the language of the registration.

These instructions also apply to international registrations.

Specifying your list of goods and services is free of charge.
