Accessibility statement: Company and organisation search at ytj.fi
The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) works constantly to improve the accessibility of the service. We will update the statement as accessibility problems are corrected.
The PRH is committed to making the company and organisation search at ytj.fi accessible in accordance with the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (laki digitaalisten palvelujen tarjoamisesta 306/2019Open link in a new tab, lag om tillhandahållande av digitala tjänster 306/2019Open link in a new tab).
How the accessibility statement was compiled
This statement was compiled on 28 March 2023. The statement is based on
- an assessment carried out by a third party
- our own assessment that the problems the third party discovered in their assessment have been corrected according to the instructions of the third party.
The statement was last revised on 14 August 2023.
How accessible this service is
This online service is partially compliant with the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services 306/2019 except for the non-compliance listed below.
The user of the service can print the retrieved details as files in the web browser. Printable files involve the following accessibility shortcomings caused by the web browser and possible screen reader:
- Tables in the printable files extending to several pages: in the NVDA screen reader, the column headers in such tables are read as many times as the number of pages to which the table extends.
- Metadata for the printable files: metadata for the printable file cannot be defined in the service (e.g., the language, heading, file or bookmarks of the file).
The PRH cannot address the aforementioned shortcomings because they are caused by screen reader or web browser features.
