Protect your company from scams: subscribe to receive alerts from the Virre Information Service

You can now monitor changes in your company’s details in the Finnish Trade Register by subscribing to the alert service in the Virre Information Service. You will receive an email from the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) when financial statements or a notification of changes concerning your company’s details has arrived in the Finnish Trade Register. This enables you to become aware of any notification filed without permission in your company’s name.

The Alert service is free of charge.

The Alert service is useful if the company’s email address is not recorded in the Finnish Trade Register or if you would like the messages to be sent to your personal email address. Please note: If the company’s email address is registered, a message concerning a notification of changes will automatically be sent to the address.

How to subscribe to alerts

You can subscribe to the service if you are registered in the Finnish Trade Register as a person responsible for the company, such as a board member, the managing director (CEO), or a partner.

To log in, you also need to have a Finnish personal identity code and a Finnish means of identification used in Suomi.fi e-Identification, such as personal internet banking codes or a mobile certificate.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to the Alert service.Avautuu uuteen välilehteen
  2. Select the company whose notifications you want to monitor.
  3. Enter an email address to which the messages should be sent. You can enter several addresses.
  4. Save and log out.

When you receive a message about a notification of changes, check the notification details in the Virre Information Service. If you suspect that someone has filed the notification without permission with the Finnish Trade Register in your company’s name, you should contact the Trade Register’s advisory service immediately.
