Eu­ro­pean In­ven­tor Network funds in­ven­tor ac­ti­vi­ties tar­ge­ted at young people

The European Inventor Network invites inventors to develop activities in Finland that will inspire young people aged 6–18 to engage with science, technology, and innovation.

Founded in 2023, the network aims to promote innovation and support inventors in their work to inspire young people. The activities can also relate to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The network has already supported 109 inventor-led projects in 29 countries, reaching out to more than 6,000 young people. Now, the network is looking for new, inspiring activities for 2027.

Type of activities to be funded

The network is looking for diverse and creative activities. They can include the following:
• Workshops
• Hands-on activities
• Showcases
• Creative sessions

The aim is to make innovation easy to understand, inspiring, and accessible.

Amount of available funding and how to apply for it

The selected proposals can receive a grant of EUR 2,000, EUR 4,000 or EUR 6,000, depending on the activity’s estimated impact and outreach.
