Fees when filing an application

When filing a utility model application, you must pay a registration feeand, if needed, an additional fee for claims. The registration feecovers the first four years of registration.

Renewal of registration

A renewal fee for the registration is due for payment on the last day ofthe month when the registration period expires. The earliest you canpay your renewal fee is one year before the due date and the latest issix months after the due date. If you pay the renewal fee after the duedate, you must also pay an additional fee.
