Application fees for patents
The fees below apply to
- Finnish national patent applications and
- PCT applications pursued in the national phase in Finland.
- Please note: When pursuing an international PCT application in Finland, you must pay the application fee within 31 months from the international filing date or the earliest priority date. Read further instructions on entering the national phase.
The fees below are official fees and are not subject to VAT.
Fees when filing an application
When filing a Finnish patent application, you must pay an application fee and, if needed, an additional fee for claims. Later during the processing, you will have to pay at least a publication fee and annual fees.
