Request for accelerated processing of a notification filed with the Trade Register or for a specific registration date
The PRH processes notifications filed with the Finnish Trade Register on a first-come, first-served basis. Exceptions are possible only if the urgency of a notification is regulated by law or there is otherwise a weighty reason for accelerated processing.
We consider justified requests whenever possible if the processing load permits it. We do not respond to requests.
There must be a weighty and justified reason for accelerated processing
The grounds for accelerated processing should be given at the beginning of the request in a clearly visible manner (for instance, in bold).
We cannot assess the need for accelerated processing if you do not explain the reasons for the urgency. Provide the following information as clearly and accurately as possible:
- The harm caused by delayed registration
- The parties who suffer harm because of the delay
- Reasons why the harm caused by the delay cannot be prevented
How to make a request
You can make a request before or after you file your notification.
Please do not include any details in your request that contain personal identity codes, home addresses, or sensitive information, such as health details.
Before filing your notification
Please note that if you file a notification online at ytj.fi, you cannot request accelerated processing or a specific registration date. Make the request after filing your notification.
If you use our form Y to file your notification, tick the box on page 1 of the form to ask for registration on a specific date. The request will not be transmitted to the Finnish Trade Register if you make the request on any other page of the form.
Enclose your written grounds for accelerated processing or for the registration date.
After filing your notification
Send your request by email.
The request must include the reason why the notification should be registered on a specific date, the requested date of registration, the company’s name, Finnish Business ID, if any, and details of the notification in question (such as its record number).
