PRH as Partner at Slush Founders’ Day 2018

PRH as Partner at Slush Founders’ Day 2018

The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) is taking part in Slush as a partner for Slush Founders’ Day on Wednesday, 3 December.

Founders’ Day is an event designed for startups and founders attending Slush. It gives them an opportunity to get valuable hands-on advice from experts and to meet other entrepreneurs prior to the main event, which will take place on 4 and 5 December 2018.

At Founders’ Day, we focus on preparing the startups for Slush by advising them on issues related to intellectual property rights (IPR) and the Finnish Trade Register. Our aim is to put the startups in a better position for meeting potential partners and investors at Slush. For most of the startups, intellectual property is all they own, so it is crucial to protect and manage it well.

We will also be showing a brand new chatbot service designed to help foreign entrepreneurs in setting up a business in Finland. The chatbot is a joint project of the PRH, the Finnish Immigration Service and the Finnish Tax Administration.

Founders’ Day will take place at Korjaamo Culture Factory in the heart of Helsinki. The event is invitation only. If you are a startup not attending Slush 2018, or if you are attending but missed the invitation, or if you cannot make it for other reasons, visit this page for information about IPR for startups and SMEs.

Even if you are not a startup, you are most welcome to visit our website
