The handling fees of the Register of Associations are based on the Act on Fees Charged for the Services of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (1032/1992) and on the Decree of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy on the Chargeable Services of the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (1090/2018).

Payment instructions for notifications filed online

You can pay your notification in our online filing service in Finnish and Swedish as soon as the chairperson has signed the notification.

Payment instructions for notifications submitted on paper

The notification fee has to be paid in advance, and the receipt must be enclosed with the notification. The notification cannot be admitted if the receipt is not submitted with it.

It is important that you submit your notification to us within a week after making the payment. If you submit it later, it will delay the processing of your notification.

The receipt, or a bank statement, must show the following details: 

  • The payer
  • The recipient (Finnish Patent and Registration Office, PRH)
  • The account number to which the money was transferred (PRH’s bank account)
  • The bank’s archive number
  • The sum paid in euros
  • In the message field: type of notification (either start-up notification or notification of change) as well as the name of association and Business ID (if any). No reference number is needed.

  • at our customer service
