Details of associations, chambers of commerce or religious communities available from our online information service
You can easily check the registered details of associations, chambers of commerce or religious communities in the information service of the Finnish Register of Associations. Search by the whole or part of a name, by Business ID or registration number.
Basic details are free of charge
The following details are free of charge in the information service:
- Business ID (registration number if the association does not have a Business ID)
- domicile (municipality where the association is based)
- special situation, if any (for example bankruptcy)
- contact details
- date and time of registration
- processing stages of notifications
- whether the association has been registered at the Finnish Trade Register and/or at the registers of the Finnish Tax Administration, such as the Prepayment Register.
You can also run selections free of charge using the advanced association search. You can for instance search for associations that are based in a certain municipality (domicile), or find out which associations were registered between 1 January 2000 and 31 May 2019.
How to buy register extracts or rules
The register extracts, rules and other details in our online information service are subject to a fee. You can pay them by credit card or using internet banking codes. Once you have paid you can access the details. The extracts and rules are available in Finnish or in Swedish.
Please note that the rules are available from the service if they were registered in 2011 or later. If you need earlier rules, use our document order form. Open the document order form.
Details of associations also available at ytj.fi and from the Virre Information Service
You will find details of associations, chambers of commerce or religious communities using the company and organisation search in the Finnish Business Information System at ytj.fi. The company and organisation search at ytj.fi contains basic information about companies or organisations that have a Business ID. The search is free of charge.
