We have deregistered companies that have not filed their financial statements for registration

The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) has removed from the Finnish Trade Register limited liability companies and co-operatives that - despite reminder letters - have not filed their financial statements.

Deregistered companies

See the list of the companies deregistered on 29 May 2024 on the prh.fi website:

In December 2023, companies risking deregistration received a reminder letter from the PRH requesting them to file their financial statements by the deadline. Read more about the reminder letter.

In January 2024, the PRH made an entry of the reminder letter in the Finnish Trade Register record of the company and published a public notice in the Official Journal. In the public notice, the PRH requested companies to file their financial statements by 7 May 2024.

We also informed the companies of the procedure using a number of communication channels.

Companies that have been deregistered did not file their financial statements with the Finnish Trade Register by the deadline. Deregistration from the Trade Register is based in each case on either the Finnish Limited Liability Companies Act (chapter 20, section 4) or the Finnish Co-operatives Act (chapter 23, section 4).

What happens after deregistration?

Deregistration means that the business is out of action. Read more about deregistration.
